Suited specifically for unvented hot water systems, the Heatrae Sadia Pack U2 Unvented Water Expansion Vessel Kit includes a pre-charged 4.1 Bar 2 Litre expansion vessel, 1/2" MBSP x 15mm 6 Bar pressure relief valve and check valve. Stabilising system pressure during normal operation, the expansion vessel absorbs the expanded water to prevent pressure build-up. If pressure rises above safe operating limits, the pressure relief valve automatically discharges excess water until safe pressure levels are reached again. The check valve prevents any backflow or cross-contamination of hot and cold water. By automatically releasing water when safe preset levels are exceeded, the Heatrae Sadia Pack U2 safeguards key components from system damage or failure. Ideal for use with Heatrae Sadia Hotflo installations and Multipoint unvented water heaters, it supports compliance with unvented hot water system regulations and safety standards.
