Ordering

All orders placed through our website will be subject to our acceptance of the order.

When we have accepted your order, this will be confirmed by an order acknowledgement via email. Order acceptance and the completion of the contract will take place on despatch of the products ordered (unless we have notified you that we are unable to accept your order, or you have notified us to cancel your order).

Arcanu accepts no liability for information obtained from third parties: i.e. part numbers obtained from a manufacturer.

It is our intention to keep our website up to date and error free, however product description or pricing errors may occur. If we discover such an error after you have submitted an order to us, we will contact you prior to accepting your order with the correct details. You may then choose to either cancel your order or re-confirm it based on the updated information provided.

 

Pricing

Our pricing is reviewed and updated on a regular basis but on occasion there may be situations whereby a price is incorrectly advertised. If an occasion arises whereby an order has been placed for an incorrectly priced item, we will endeavour to honour this, however if this is not possible we will contact you immediately to advise and you have the option to cancel your order. 

Delivery

We deliver to all UK mainland postcodes. You will be notified if we are unable to deliver to your location for any reason following an order being placed.

Delivery timescales are estimated as this service is provided via a third party.

All items are subject to stock availability.

We accept no liability for consequential loss suffered by the purchaser for delayed or non-delivery of goods or in the event that a product is unsuitable, incorrectly received, arrives damaged or has a fault. All goods should be checked upon receipt ensuring they are correct, suitable for the application they are being used for and that there are no damages, prior to booking an installer.

Whilst we make every effort to deliver goods on the day we specify, we cannot guarantee delivery on that day or accept liability for deliveries made outside this timescale.

Although very occasional, breakages can happen in transit. If goods are received damaged or short shipped you must contact support@arcanu.com within 3 working days. Failure to do so may result in your claim being declined. If a parcel arrives and is visibly damaged but you are unable to unpackage to check the goods, you must sign for the delivery as damaged.  Alternatively, you have the right to refuse delivery of the goods. Items not marked as damaged may not be eligible for claims under shipping damages.

If any goods are refused these will be sent back to Arcanu and we will inspect and replace or refund as necessary.

 

Returns

Unwanted or No Longer Required Goods

Items that are no longer required or unwanted, must be returned within 30 days of purchase in a resalable condition. For items that you believe are faulty or damaged, please contact us on support@arcanu.com. After 30 days, unfortunately we are unable to accept returns that are unwanted or no longer required.

Unless previously agreed, it is the customers responsibility to return the item. Unfortunately, any claim for returns postage that has not been previously agreed may not be accepted.

Once goods are received, they will be quality checked to ensure they have arrived in a resalable condition. If the goods returned to us are damaged due to misuse we reserve the right to decline a refund.

For unwanted items, we aim to refund customers within 5-10 days of receipt of the return.

Faulty Goods

For faulty items returned within 30 days of purchase, a refund will be issued within 14 days of receipt of the goods in our warehouse. 

Once goods are received, they will undergo an inspection and testing where necessary. If they are found not to be faulty, or damaged due to misuse we reserve the right to decline a refund. If required, we can provide details of inspection results on request.

For faulty returns, where testing may be required, refunds can take longer but we aim issue them within 14 days of receipt of the goods.

After 30 days, under the Consumer Rights Regulations Act 2015, we may offer a repair or refund depending on the manufacturer’s warranty terms. Where testing is required, these items will be sent back to the manufacturer and once approved a refund will be issued.

 

Disclaimers and Limitations on Arcanu

Please make sure that you have read and understood our Privacy Policy which explains how we safeguard any data which you provide to us for us to fulfil your online order.

The use of our site and any contracts formed are governed by English law. Overseas orders will not be accepted.

We shall not be responsible to you whether in contract, tort (including negligence) or otherwise for incidental, special, indirect or consequential loss or damage, any loss of profit (direct or indirect), loss of sales, loss of goodwill or reputation, loss of business, third party claims, pure economic loss arising out of or in connection of the performance or non-performance of our obligations under these terms and conditions including such damage as may be reasonably foreseeable at the date you order the goods.

Our liability for any claim for loss or damage shall be limited to the sum paid by you for the goods.

A person who is not a party to these terms and conditions shall have no right to enforce any term under the Contracts (Rights of Third Parties) Act 1999.

If any provision of these terms and conditions is found to be invalid or unenforceable by a court the invalidity or unenforceability of such provision shall not affect the other provisions of these terms and conditions.

We reserve the right to change these terms and conditions from time to time and any such changes will be communicated on our website.

All intellectual property rights (including use of trademarks) shall be solely owned by us. You are permitted only to use material on this website as expressly authorised by us or our licensors.

Any unauthorised use of material on this site is strictly prohibited.

We will use reasonable endeavours to verify the accuracy of any product or pricing information which we place on the site but we make no warranties (whether express or implied) in relation to the accuracy of such information).

These Terms and Conditions supersede all previous Terms and Conditions, representations, undertakings and agreements.

If you do not agree to these terms, you may not purchase from Arcanu. Arcanu reserves the right, at any time, to modify, alter, or update these terms of use, and you agree to be bound by such modifications, alterations, or updates on subsequent visits. These Terms and Conditions are applicable to any trading name of Athal Group or Arcanu.
